Undergraduate Brothers

Words from Eta Psi's Chapter Advisor
International Omega Man of the Year: Brian Stanfield 1-11-ΤΓΓ

Greetings Brothers,
A graduate advisor plays a vital role in the success and continuity of any undergraduate
chapter in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Since the fraternity’s founding on November
17, 1911, graduate advisors have provided steady guidance, ensuring that traditions are
honored, and organizational values are upheld. The advisor serves as both mentor and
role model, offering wisdom, leadership, and professional insight that help
undergraduate brothers grow academically, personally, and socially. By maintaining a
strong connection between alumni and active members, the graduate advisor ensures
the chapter continues to thrive while reinforcing Omega Psi Phi’s principles of manhood,
scholarship, perseverance, and uplift. As the Marching Eta Psi chapter prepares for its
centennial celebration on April 28, 2026, my role as the “Centennial Advisor” becomes
even more critical, helping the brotherhood reflect on its legacy while preparing future
leaders to carry its mission forward with strength, unity, and purpose.
As we prepare to celebrate the chapter’s centennial, I commend the brothers of the
Marching Eta Psi Chapter for their dedication and legacy. May the next 100 years shine
even brighter. Keep striving for excellence, my brothers!
Fraternally,
Brian Stanfield
